THESE ARE FOLLOWING POSITIONS
1) Design Engineer Audio R&D for CoreSW/ Nokia Core Platform
- Research or Industry experience in audio signal processing- Knowledge of DSP architectures- Strong understanding of signal processing fundamentals- Experience in real-time operating systems is a plus- Knowledge of software and product development lifecycle is a plus
- Interest in audio quality, audio perception or acoustics in general will certainly helpto push new ideas further in the field of audio
2) Design engineers – Test asset development for CoreSW/ Nokia Core Platform
- Good skills and experience in C++ programming
- Familiarity with Symbian OS or Embedded systems
- Experience with automated SW test tools is desirable
- Ability to understand/ create technical specifications and test cases
- Knowledge of SW engineering principles and SW testing methods
- Problem solving skills, ability to work independently
3) L2/L3 Design engineers for Protocol SW implementation
- Good skills in C (and/or SDL) programming and ability to learn more
- Knowledge about software engineering principles including analysis, design, implementation and unit testing
- Knowledge about Real-Time Embedded Systems / Real-Time Operating Systems
- Familiar with SW configuration and version management tools (CM Synergy)
Desirable
- Participating in inspections: design, change note, and unit test case
- Indicating fast testing needs
- Participating in test case run study
4) L2/L3 Test Engineers
- Knowledge in software testing
- Knowledge of embedded software and its testing in a real-time environment
- Knowledge of GSM/(E)GPRS SW development / testing- Proficiency in C, Perl / Python, UNIX shell - Excellent analytical ability- interest in developing tests that verify corner cases and ensure maximum coverage and compliance- Ability to gather information needed for test case planning and testing
5) Multimedia SW Design Engineer
-Knowledge of integrating Audio, Speech and/or Video codecs and familiarity with some of the major Standards like AAC, MP3, MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, etc. -Knowledge of integrating codecs to the higher layers like Symbian MDF, gStreamer or DirectShow - Strong experience in C/Assembly, embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) - Experience in optimizing algorithms and embedded software - Test and debugging of algorithms in real-time system - Knowledge of ARM and DSP architectures Desirable- Experience in real-time software development for mobile handsets- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience in C++ and Symbian OS
6) SW Design Engineer- MACN
- Good skills in C (and/or SDL) programming and ability to learn more
-Knowledge of AT commands/CS data bearers/NAS layers/Video Telephony
-Knowledge of software engineering principles including analysis, design, implementation and unit testing
-Real-Time Embedded Systems / Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Protocol knowledge: GSM, WCDMA, (E)GPRS, RTP, RTSP and SIP
- GSM and (E)GPRS protocol knowledge is essential
7) IP Design Engineer (IPDE)
- Micro-architecture analysis and specification
- Solid ASIC circuit design experience
- ASIC/IP design flow
- Low power design
- Module verification
- Synthesis/STA/Formal Equivalence check
- VHDL/Verilog
- C/C++
- Wireless domain knowledge (WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA) desired, but not a must
